Even the rain couldn’t dampen the children’s spirits when the North Pole came to Newtownabbey! Possibly one of the best bits was watching the animals come in! The donkey just wouldn’t budge so he had to be pushed from behind. The children cheered him on from the veranda, then watched as the sheep tried to escape and the hens flew overhead! Reindeer food was provided (although the children ate the most of it) along with toasted marshmallows and I believe a certain bearded gentleman was in residence in the Nursery Cottage. Hopefully the children enjoyed the experience as much as the staff did creating it! See you all in the New Year!
