It was an emotional last day for everyone at Ashgrove Nursery School. The day began with a 3 piece band playing the children into school (leading to a few little impromptu dances too…..!).

The children were a picture, dressed in their finery…..some freestyling in choices….as we would expect!

Nicola, from ‘Fizz, Wizz, Bang’, entertained us all with her stories, magic and zany humour.

Parents were treated to a Garden Party (slightly mizzly, we would have to admit – and no sign of the Queen at all – perhaps she was busy elsewhere, but she didn’t know what she was missing!).

In all, £250 was able to be given to the Exodus Uganda Team, thanks to parents’ generous contributions for the fizz and buns provided.

Party food and ice creams were next on the agenda, with some many creamy, drippy faces (and that was just the staff!).

A fitting end to the term. We will so miss every one of our ‘little birds’.
