There was great excitement when the children came into Nursery today! Our butterflies had finally hatched out from their cocoons! First, there were just two, but by lunchtime, all five had emerged and were trying out their new wings. We have fed them with sugar and water and put in some flowers so that they can search for sweet nectar. Two more sleeps until we set them free in our garden! Hopefully the birds and cats will leave our new little ones alone!
