Well . . . would you believe it! Mrs Compton’s car was really filthy dirty so the children got to work to clean it! Brave Mrs Compton! She nearly lost a back windscreen wiper but the children had a ball! Each got paid a penny for their services. Hopefully, they won’t spend it all in the one shop!
