The latest information from the Education Authority (EA) is that, due to the on-going CV-19 situation, EA will be issuing letters to Parents /Guardians on behalf of Nursery Schools to advise Parents/Guardians on the outcome of their child’s Pre-School Application for the Academic Year 20/21. The letters will be sent from EA and NOT the Nursery School, for receipt on Wednesday 29 April 2020. However, due to any potential delays in the postal network, they will also be opening their Citizen Portal which will be accessible via the EA website on Wednesday 29 April 2020. Parents /Guardians who had applied online in January 2020 can log in and obtain information relating to their child’s Pre-School Application.
For those Parents whose child has been allocated a Part Time Session, the EA letter will not differentiate between an AM Session Place or a PM Session Place, as both are considered a Part Time Place in a Setting.
This Nursery School will issue a follow up email to ALL Parents who have been allocated a place in our Nursery School to inform of the procedure for accepting or refusing a place and to detail the specific allocation of an AM or PM Session for those who have been offered a Part Time Session Place. We hope this will be useful in making an informed decision.
Please do not attempt to contact the Nursery School by telephone as due to the CV-19 situation there will not be anyone to answer your call or pick up messages.
However, we would advise that you check your email inbox (and your junk folder) periodically on 29th April 2020, in the event that you receive an email from our Nursery School.
These are unprecedented times and as such, we continue to need to be patient, as systems and processes have had to adapt to the key messages and directives from Government.
In the meantime, stay safe and look after each other. We will be in touch with those who have been successful in their Application for our Nursery School 20/21.
